Kindergarten - We are continuing to practice logging in and using the mouse to open and close programs.

1st Grade - We are using Dance Mat Typing to practice locating letters on the keyboard.

2nd Grade - We are using Dance Mat Typing to practice locating letters on the keyboard.

3rd Grade - We are using Dance Mat Typing to practice locating letters on the keyboard.

4th Grade - We are using Peter's Online Typing program to practice using the home row technique.

5th Grade - We are using Peter's Online Typing program to practice using the home row technique.

6th Grade - We are learning about all the tools Google Docs has to offer.

Second & Third Grades

Students will be focusing on their typing skills.  They will use a program called Dance Mat Typing.  The students will complete one stage per class.  The first class we will start with lesson 1, stage 1 and move on from there.

Fourth, Fifth & Sixth Grades

Students will be honing their typing skills using Peter's Online Typing course.  They will be practicing using the home row technique.

Students will practice their mouse skills.  The students will be using a program called sketchpad to practice clicking and moving their mouse around.

Fifth Grade - PowerPoints due this week -- presentations start

Sixth Grade - Continue working on PowerPoint presentations - this class and one more to complete

Second Grade - Practice counting, collecting and spending money (Penny Panda's Sticker Store)

Third Grade - Practice using keywords to search the internet (Google)

Fourth Grade - Finish, print and read "Hero Essay" (Microsoft Word)

Fifth Grade - Finish fictional novel PowerPoint (Microsoft PowerPoint)

Sixth Grade -  Continue working on informative PowerPoint (Microsoft PowerPoint)

Third Grade - Finish Internet Safety Project and share with the class (Microsoft Word/Netsmartz)

Fourth Grade - Continue working on Hero Essay (Microsoft Word)

Fifth Grade - Continue working on Novel project (PowerPoint)

Sixth Grade - Explain informational PowerPoint project and begin project (PowerPoint)
